Greaseproof paper is a speciality grade paper used in the food packaging industry. The paper is typically low GSM (25-100GSM) and has speciality features to ensure the paper performs as expected.
This paper is exposed to high temperatures and often in direct contact with high grease levels. These features enhance the paper's production process and also classify it as a speciality grade with the characteristics and costs of a premium paper.
They have different levels of resistance to grease: from KIT 4 to KIT 10.
